I have a copy of David Linn's The Ascent hanging in my dorm room to remind me constantly of the people that I have who are extending their own arms toward me, attempting to help me through life, also to remind myself of my responsibility to help those around me to become nearer to God.

I LOVE that painting, well actually the message in the painting more than the painting itself! I don't have my own print yet, but I emailed David Linn directly and he referred me to the Church Museum to get a print. I want one large enough to fill a wall in foyer of my home for all to see when they enter. I like you more and more from your recent posts. :)
Note that I changed my blog address today, it is now enduringjourney.blogspot.com.
I have a print of this and feel it is very profound in how it describes not only our journey, but our obligation to lift others as we go along our paths.
I am interested in contacting David Linn to get his permission to use this print for a couple of projects I'm working on. You mentioned you emailed him. Do you still have his email address or know how I could reach him? If you wouldn't mind sharing it, I'd appreciate it.
BTW, I bought my print from the Church Museum. It's not very big. They didn't have any really large ones. The sheet is 18" x 24" inches, but the image, itself, is only about 11" x 17" with a wide white border around it. They had a massive print of it hanging in the museum during an exhibition a few years ago. But I don't think it's there anymore. I'm sure you can still buy the print, though.
Never mind the request. I just found David's contact info on Dex Online. He only lives a few miles from. Small world.
Thanks anyway! :-)
