I'm just going to say it and you can think I'm a jerk, but whatever.

I miss the old Queerosphere, and when I say old, I mean before the Tribune article last year. This time is also known as before most of you had blogs in the QoS. Those were better days.

PS I miss Ward Cleaver.

You mean you miss the Utah queerosphere from before Salad and I joined up and somehow made everyone talk to each other? :P I imagine those were simpler, more private days.

I miss him, too.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. Let's never fight again.

I've thought about Ward off and on a bunch of times. And several others who were blogging back then but not anymore. [sigh] I hope things are good.

I noticed I'm no longer the Queen of the Queerosphere.

I think that's probably okay.

I haven't noticed a difference, other than there are more of us. For me personally, I posted a lot less in those days.

I know what you mean. It's so.... anonymous!

Ward still lurks about. Yet these days he lurks into another direction.

Much has changed in his life. You could say that he has evolved into a new man with a new outlook with a new attitude with a new job and a new life with new friends as he takes medications that allow him to feel "even" and not so "extreme."

A new man,
Ward

I agree with Forester that the main difference is that the community has grown to where it is very hard to follow everyone or even know everyone. Before, with fewer, it was easier. It was simpler. Is that good or bad that it's more complicated?

P.S. Good to see Ward responding! Glad to hear you're doing well. :)
