.:Superhero:.

sleepwalking through the all-nite drugstore
baptized in flourescent light
i found religion in the greeting card aisle
now i know Hallmark was right
and every pop song on the radio
is suddenly speaking to me
yeah, art may imitate life
but life imitates t.v.
'cuz you've been gone exactly two weeks
two weeks and three days
and let's just say that things look different now
different in so many ways

i used to be a superhero
no one could touch me
not even myself

Who wrote this poem?

Well, I guess most songs are like poetry. Cool. P.S. I started a new blog with my poetry on it. It isn't good, but it's out there. *cringes*

I think Ani Difranco is the source of all lesbianism, whether you realize it or not. --Pinetree

Don't spend too much time alone with Ani...she'll change you...

Cool poem/song. This is actualy an excuse to say hi because I realize I know you. Agirlwho was showing me Pinetree's blog and I saw you and said I met you at the EG conference last year. And she was like, "Oh that's ATP!" So there ya go. I guess I have officially joined the queer-o-sphere, or so I've been told. So keep in touch, eh!
